Activon Tube Honey is suitable for removing necrotic tissue or replenishing dressings when the honey is washed away by exudate.
Activon Tube Honey contains 100% medical-grade Manuka honey, which can create a moist healing environment, effectively eliminate wound odor, and provide antibacterial effects. It is packaged in a convenient 20g tube and can be used for 90 days after opening.

Instructions for Use
- Ensure the wound is clean
- Gently pat dry the surrounding skin
- Remove the sterile tube of honey from the box
- Unscrew the cap
- Apply evenly to the wound bed (surface or wound cavity)
- Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing
- For single patient use only
- Store at room temperature
- Use within 90 days of opening
A large amount of exudate may appear initially, which is completely normal and will decrease over time. Therefore, the secondary dressing you choose may need to be a super absorbent dressing initially, and we recommend Eclypse.
Tip: Use Activon Tube Honey in combination with Algivon for debridement and eschar removal.
Indications
Can be used as an Activon honey-impregnated wound dressing or as a wound filler, applied directly to partial or full-thickness wounds, including:
- Sloughy wound
- Pressure ulcer
- Surgical wound
- Burn
- Graft site
- Malodorous wound
Contraindications
Known allergy to bee venom/honey.
